Want to Be an Experienced Poker Player

Hello,

I want to be considered “experienced” in the world of poker but I don’t have much money. I’ve heard that to gain real experience you have to play in real cash games.

I’m thinking if there is a better way to learn and get experience without playing at low stakes no limit holdem games using real money. And if there’s no other way, in case I play at real games, is there any drawback?

Granted, the experience you pick up will not be the same as if you play in a game for real money, but you can learn a lot about the game playing free money games. You can also play free money tournaments online as well to help gain experience.
